Massage is more than a luxury.

“Our bodies communicate to us clearly and specifically, if we are willing to listen.”  ― Shakti Gawain

What is your body saying?  That ache between your shoulder blades, the sore neck, or your tweaky low back is trying to tell you something.  An old injury flares up, a new-ish injury taking too long to heal, stress taking hold in your body and causing those aches and pains.  All signs that you should take a break and do something for yourself.  Massage is that perfect something.  For an entire hour (or even a brief 30 minutes stolen from your busy day, or a blissful 90 minutes) you get to turn your cell phone off, disconnect from your computer and your responsibility, and get a massage.  You can learn more about massages ability to decrease pain, reduce stress, relieve anxiety and depression, and overall make you feel great here.

Elements of Bodywork is located at 167 Saratoga Avenue in Mechanicville NY, offering therapeutic massage, shiatsu massage, and yoga classes.  Elements of Bodywork is owned and operated by Elin Cary, licensed massage therapist and yoga instructor.  Elin is available by appointment Sunday through Friday.

    • Great! Call me directly to schedule at 518-281-2810, or on my website there is a button at the top right corner of the screen that says “book now!” and you can book right online! I have hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

    • Hi Cathy,

I hope you received my email! Please let me know if you have any more questions, and I look forward to meeting you soon.

    • Hi Marianne,
I incorporate myofascial release into all my massages, though I do not do strictly myofascial sessions. I hope this helps, let me know if you would like to set up an appointment!
